Superior Police Department

  According to state law, police may arrest suspected offenders by two methods. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damage amounts are estimates.

Nov. 3

  Violation of a court order was reported in the 600 block of Main St.

  Officers took missing person reports in the 400 block of Valentine St. and the zero block of Arnett Dr.

  Assault was reported in the 700 block of Church. The officer determined that no assault occurred.

Nov. 4

  Christine S. Mendoza, 34, Superior, was arrested in the 1000 block of Belmont Ave. and was charged with aggravated assault DV (domestic violence), aggravated assault on a police officer, child endangerment and resisting arrest. She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail in Florence.

Nov. 6

  A hit and run accident was reported in the 1000 block of U.S. Hwy. 60.

Nov. 8

  A narcotics offense was reported in the 100 block of Gray Dr.

  Robert C. Ochoa, 53, Superior, was arrested in the area of Sonora St. and was charged with aggravated harassment DV and resisting arrest. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Nov. 9

  An accident with injuries was reported in the area of Hwy. 177.

  Vandalism was reported in the area of U.S. Hwy. 60 and Western Ave.

Nov. 10

  Rosemary P. Barba, 65, Superior, was arrested in the 800 block of Church Ave. and was charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Nov. 11

  Criminal damage was reported in the 500 block of Lime St.

  An officer took a report of a missing person in the 300 block of Palo Verde Dr.

Nov. 12

 Theft was reported in the 900 block of Church Ave.

Nov. 13

  Burglary was reported in the 600 block of Gibbs St.

  Theft was reported in the 500 block of Hill St.

  Criminal damage was reported in the 500 block of Lime St.

  Burglary was reported in the 800 block of Church Ave.

  Theft was reported in the 600 block of U.S. Hwy. 60.

Nov. 15

  Dawn Marie Day, 36, Superior, was arrested in the 900 block of Stone Ave. and was charged with three counts of fraudulent schemes. She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

  Gary William Hayes, 40, Superior, was arrested in the 900 block of Stone Ave. and was charged with burglary and theft of means of transportation. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Nov. 16

  A narcotics offense was reported in the 400 block of Terrace Dr.

  Theft was reported in the area of Lobb Ave. and Main St.
