The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damage amounts are estimates.

June 10
Lawrence D. Diaz, 45, Mesa, was arrested in the 700 block of Main St. on a failure to appear warrant issued by the Superior-Kearny Justice Court. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail in Florence.
Erica J. Robles-Taranto, 35, Globe, was arrested in the area of Main St. and Lobb Ave. on three warrants for failure to appear (issued by the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, Arizona Department of Public Safety and the Miami Police Department) and a violation of a court order warrant issued by the Globe Police Department. She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.
June 11
Rachael M. Apodaca, 47, Winkelman, was arrested in the area U.S. Hwy. 60 and Hewitt Station Rd. and was charged with obstructing a highway and failure to provide identification. She was cited and released.
June 12
Stephanie A. Armenta, 30, Superior, was arrested in the area of Belmont Ave. and Valentine St. on a felony warrant for probation violation issued by the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office. She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.
June 13
John Ray Soriano, 37, Superior, was arrested in the area of Belmont Ave. and U.S. Hwy. 60 and was charged with driving on a suspended license. He was cited and released.
Burglary was reported in the zero block of Sunset Dr.
June 14
Carlos A. Casias, 26, Superior, was arrested in the 600 block of Crowe St. and was charged with assault-DV (domestic violence) and disorderly conduct-DV. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.
Angel D. Duarte, 29, Superior, was arrested in the 700 block of Sonora St. on two failure to appear warrants issued by the Gila County Sheriff’s Office and the Apache Junction Police Department. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.
Robert P. Luz, 24, Superior, was arrested in the 700 block of Sonora St. on a warrant for failure to appear issued by the Mesa Police Department. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Sean K. Stroud, 22, Globe, was arrested in the area of Church Ave. and Gibbs St. and was charged with possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.
Violation of a court order was reported in the zero block of Mitchell Dr.

Superior Police want to remind drivers to obey all the speed limits in the construction zone on U.S. Hwy. 60. ADOT is paying the Superior Police to do extra patrol in the construction zones to enforce speed limits during working hours. Fines are double in the construction zone while workers are present.
