Superior Little League’s 2017 season may be cancelled; board members needed

The Superior Little League held its annual meeting and elections meeting last week. Unfortunately no one attended the meeting to be nominated as board members for the league.  Many of the current board members have been serving for at least 10 years and they all plan to retire as board members.

If a new board is not elected by the end of November then the 2017 Superior Little League will be cancelled.  The positions of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer must be elected in order to get the season organized and scheduled.  There are also the positions of Player Agent and Safety Officer that need to be filled as well.

The exiting board is willing to assist with volunteering, coaching and consulting to the new board but they do not wish to serve as board members for the 2017 season.

If you are willing to serve on the 2016-17 Little League Board please contact Virginia Alonzo at 480-215-9144 or virgalonzo@gmail.com.
