A total of six baseball and softball teams from Superior Little League are competing in All-Star tournaments which began on June 23, 2014. Baseball and Softball teams in three divisions – 9/10, 11/12, and Senior – are playing in the tournament for a chance to advance to the state tournament.

The winning team of the state tournament advances to a regional tournament with a chance to play for a berth in the Little League World Series.

The tournaments are being played at Maricopa, Casa Grande, and Coolidge. All of the tournaments are double-elimination.

The 11/12 Division Softball All-Stars started their tournament at Maricopa Copper Sky Recreation Complex on June 24, 2014. They lost their first game to Casa Grande, 23 – 6, before defeating Coolidge 25 – 24 on June 25. Superior’s 11/12 Softball All-Stars were eliminated from tournament play after losing to Casa Grande on June 26, 8 – 4. Casa Grande eventually went on to win the tournament and now advances to the state tournament.

The 11/12 Division Baseball All-Stars began their tournament on July 1 vs Santa Cruz.

Both 9/10 Division teams began their respective tournaments on June 30. The baseball and softball All-Stars each were scheduled to open tournament play against Casa Grande. The 9/10 Division tournaments are being played at Casa Grande. Scores from the games played on June 30 were not available at press time.

Both Senior Division teams will begin their tournaments on July 8. The softball tournament is being played at Casa Grande. The Softball All-Stars will take on Coolidge in their first game. The baseball tournament is being played at Coolidge. The Baseball All-Stars will take on Maricopa in their first game.
