St. Helen’s hosts successful horseshoe tournament; Lopez team named winners

Oracle Towne Crier

On Saturday, May 10, St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Oracle hosted a horseshoe tournament.

Everyone enjoyed watching the competition as well as music, food and cold drinks. The St. Helen’s Kitchen Crew served green chili burros, hamburgers and home made baked goods.

The winning team at the tournament was Jesse and Richard “Flaco” Lopez. They received the first place prize of $150 cash.
