This letter is about a sidelight to that tragic accident that killed and injured those men coming home from work. One young mother, Chasity Brownrigg, lost her husband in the wreck, then shortly afterwards lost her dad to a stroke or heart attack.
She and her husband had recently bought a vehicle from Oracle Ford, which now, because of the loss of income, she would be unable to pay for. When the folks at Oracle Ford heard this, they agreed to take back the car and refunded her money, then donated a significant amount to the fund-raising effort.
That kind of compassionate, people-focused action is something too often lacking in businesses that would think only of the hassle of paperwork and their loss of income. It’s good to know we have that kind of business in Oracle.
