Sheriff’s Report – Miner

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Report is taken from the daily logs, based on the information provided by deputies. All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

April 16 A criminal damage report was made directly to a deputy at the Oracle substation.

April 16 A school official in Oracle reported that a child had brought a knife to school.

April 16 Burglary from a vehicle was reported in the 60000 block of East Eagle Heights Drive, Eagle Crest.

April 17 The Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting that two subjects were in the parking lot of the Oracle Library firing guns at one another and fighting. When the 911 dispatcher tried to get the caller’s name, the caller hung up. Because the person was calling from a 911 only cell phone, the dispatcher was unable to call the person back. No vehicles or people matching the caller’s description was located at the Oracle Library. Dispatchers noted that another call from the same phone was made earlier reporting a drunk driver on Highway 77 near Mammoth. Both calls were determined to be bogus.

April 17 A runaway juvenile was reported in the 500 block of South Avenue D, San Manuel.

April 17 An accident with injuries was reported in front of the Salt and Pepper Convenience Store in San Manuel. The call was made from a 911 only cell phone and the caller hung up before any other information could be obtained. No accident was located.

April 17 Michael Horton Lowther, 32, Oracle, was arrested in the 1000 block of West American Avenue, Oracle, on three warrants for interfering with judicial proceedings. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail in Florence.

April 18 Theft from a vehicle was reported in the area of Rockliffe Boulevard and American Avenue, Oracle.

April 18 Theft of a vehicle was reported in the area of South Alta Vista, San Manuel. No description of the vehicle was given.

April 18 A white 2000 Dodge vehicle, which previously had been reported as stolen, was located on Douglas and First Avenue, San Manuel. The car was returned to its owner.

April 19 Burglary from a vehicle was reported in the Oracle Junction area.

April 19 A person called the Sheriff’s Office and reported hearing seven to eight gunshots in the area of South McNab Parkway, San Manuel.

April 19 Nathan James Hendrickson, 25, Oracle, was arrested in the 1700 block of North Sunset Point, Oracle, on a warrant for failure to appear. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

April 20 Theft was reported in the 3200 block of West Highway 77, Oracle.

April 20 Theft from an unlocked vehicle was reported in the 1200 block of North Caminito, Oracle.

April 20 Criminal damage was reported in the 35000 block of South Highway 77, Oracle Junction. A residential window was shot with a gun and shattered.

April 20 Assault was reported in the 300 block of South McNab Parkway, San Manuel.

April 20 A male juvenile, 16, San Manuel, was arrested in the 500 block of South Avenue D, San Manuel, and was charged with being an incorrigible child runaway. He was cited and released.

April 20 Tydel Scott Ray, 45, San Manuel, was arrested in the 200 block of South Avenue A, San Manuel, and was charged with six counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession of marijuana and nine counts of production of marijuana. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

April 21 Criminal damage was reported in the 600 block of West Second Avenue, San Manuel. A wall was painted with graffiti.

April 21 Kristie Yvonne Madrid Yepiz, 35, Mammoth, was arrested in the Dudleyville area on a warrant for failure to pay a fine. She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.
