Surrounded by his family, Ron Romero Sr., 73, transitioned from this life to eternity on May 30, 2016. Ron was a visionary who chased after his dreams and cherished nothing more than his family.

He was born July 26, 1942 in Douglas, AZ and spent his early childhood in Bisbee, AZ. He grew up in Los Angeles before joining the United States Army. Professionally, he was the consummate entrepreneur. He began his career with AT&T and retired as the President of Rome-Aero, Inc. in 2008. Ron served his community as the President of the San Ramon Rotary Club and the Co-Chairman of the Hispanic Community Foundation in San Francisco.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Tiso (Las Vegas) and his children Ron Romero Jr. (Ojai, CA.) Randy and Diane Romero (Carlsbad, CA.) and Melissa and Scott Romero Keeble (Champaign, IL).

One of his greatest joys was watching his grandchildren grow and teaching them how to cook. Pops will be dearly missed by Ryan Romero, Kobe Romero Keeble, Maya Romero Keeble and Randi Romero. We are forever grateful to his surviving mother, Celia Loya (Long Beach, Ca.) Ron is the eldest of six children: Suzanne Krause (Loomis, CA,) William Loya (Las Vegas, NV,) Samuel Loya (Seal Beach, CA,) Guy Loya (Tustin, CA,) and Renee Loya Pirante (Lake Havasu, AZ.)

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Romero Residence on June 18 at 5 p.m. Please contact family for further details.
