Robert Lorona 5K Cancer Walk planned for Nov. 23

Hayden – The first annual Robert (Pee-Wee) Lorona 5k Cancer Walk will take place on Nov. 23 at the Hayden Golf Course. Registration starts at 7 a.m., with the walk beginning at 9 a.m. The entry fee is $25, which includes a t-shirt and meal ticket.

The theme is Walk to Win and the goal is to help fight cancer and support the families who are in their own fight against cancer. All proceeds will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In order to meet this goal, sponsorships are being sought from local businesses and individuals.

Donation tiers are: $500 Platinum Sponsors, will receive the following : eight participants, eight shirts and eight meal tickets, as well as a sponsorship sign along the walk path.

$250 Gold Sponsors will receive: four participants, four shirts and four meal tickets, as well as a sponsorship sign along the walk path.

$100 Silver Sponsors will receive the following: two participants, two shirts and two meal tickets, as well as a sponsorship sign along the walk path.
