Robert A Huerta

  Robert A Huerta, 78, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018 in his home in Superior with his family near.

  He was born May 24, 1940 in Sonora, Arizona to Anita Aragon and Epumaiseno Huerta. He went to Ray High School and worked at Magma Copper for over 20 years as an inspector. He also worked at Lake Powell Dam in Arizona when repairs were made there.

  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and one of his last trips was camping at Happy Jack near Camp Verde with his loving family.

  Robert was loved and will be missed by his family. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Victoria Flores Huerta; his children, Barbara (Hector) Garcia, Emily (Steve) Cano, Felix Garcia, Robert Huerta, Jr., Paul Huerta, and Melinda Garcia. He has seven siblings and nine grandchildren who also survive him.

  A Memorial Mass will be held for Robert at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Superior on Friday, Oct. 12, 2018 at 10 a.m.
