Richard M. Ochoa

  Richard M. Ochoa, “Dicko”, 80, went to his heavenly home on Oct. 20, 2017. Richard was born on Nov. 13, 1936 in Superior, AZ and was a resident of Mesa, AZ for the past 48 years.

  He is survived by his children, Richard D. Ochoa, Danny Ochoa, Eddie Ochoa, and Angela Ochoa Horton. Along with their spouses, Teresa Ochoa, Mandy Ochoa, and Mickey Horton. Dicko had 20 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 3 on deck; 4 sisters and 2 brothers, Laura Vasquez, Jessie Huerta, Frances Gonzales, Leo Gonzales, Marcella Garcia, and Dwight Ochoa, as well as many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog Baxter.

  He is preceded in death by his wife Linda Fraijo Ochoa and parents, Alfonso Ochoa and Maria Luisa Gonzales.

  Dicko sincerely enjoyed his time with family and friends, watching his sports, and spending time with his changitos (grandchildren). 

  Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 30, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. with Rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral Home, 1562 E. Baseline Rd., Mesa, AZ.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 141 N. Macdonald St., Mesa, AZ with interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1562 E. Baseline Rd., Mesa, AZ.  Condolences may be made at www.qohcfh.org.  Arrangements entrusted to Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral Home, Mesa, AZ.
