Superior, Arizona Visitors from around the state including two out of state visitors from Tennessee attended the tour of the reclamation of the old Magma mine site given by Resolution Copper.

Guests were given a brief presentation on how the reclamation began and some explanation on the permitting required for reclamation and building a mine. Following the presentation the group was given a tour of the reclamation and the mines west plant.

One key point of interest was some of the historic structures still standing on site including the original electrical house built on the north east ridge, which brought in the power to the Magma mine from Roosevelt lake.

The group was given a pizza lunch and had time after to ask questions about the project and the reclamation process.
