The Cox Ranching Room and the Native American rooms at the Bullion Plaza Cultural Center and Museum in Miami will now have heating and cooling thanks to the additional funding from Resolution Copper.
The project had received a generous contribution from United Fund in the amount of $14,000 but that was not enough to complete the project; Resolution provided $4,500 from their community investment funds to complete the heating and cooling project.
“The completion of the heating and cooling system will allow the rooms to also be rented and used to generate revenue for the center,” explained Bryan Seppala, Community Stakeholder Analysist with Resolution Copper.
Resolution Copper also provided an additional $2,500 to the funding of the Mining Hall Way at the Bullion Plaza. This project has been supported by several of the local mines and contractors including Freeport McMorRan.
The Bullion Plaza Cultural Center and Museum has many exhibits about the history of Miami, southern Gila County and the Copper Corridor area. They also have event space that is available for meetings, parties and events.
