With the support of Resolution Copper, the Let’s Talk Trash Committee hosted a successful clean up day for residents of Superior. Town Council Members, Michael Alonzo and Stephen Estatico, also aided in the planning of the event and assisted with coordinating volunteers. The Town of Superior provided the back hoe and operator to assist with putting the trash into the containers.

The cleanup allowed residents to bring their trash and yard waste to the roll off containers on Saturday. Those roll offs filled up quickly, but with everyone’s help and support the event helped to remove 80,000-90,000 pounds of trash.
