I think that’s all Councilman Brewer does is speak and never listen and never observes. I will say Mr. Brewer’s statement about being intimidated during a meeting and feeling abused was a complete lie. I don’t know what meeting you attended Mr. Brewer but your’re far from being a victim. If I remember correctly were you not the same person wearing t-shirts that stated “The Tormentor” to past council meetings and around town? Were you not asked to leave past council meetings for being disruptive, once walking out making the statement “Monkey Court!” It seems like several meetings now the Mayor has to stop you from being disruptive due to you wanting to speak about negative things only. Why don’t you speak about the positive things going on in our town? Why don’t you attend meetings where they talk about economic growth in the area? I didn’t see you at the meeting involving the casino, and I also didn’t see you at the meeting when Council voted to buy property to benefit our town. I don’t see you at the youth groups, senior citizens meetings, swap meets, employees luncheons, employee Christmas party, out of town meetings, promotions, or other positive functions. Oh but we did see you running down to Main Street and McFarland to take pictures of a minor accident involving a palm tree; and we can only imagine who called you with this big news. Is that what your’re all about Mr. Brewer being negative and listening to anything negative. I will say this because I do speak my mind. I thought I voted for a person who wanted positive change in our town, not person with personal agendas at every meeting, or a person who makes trips to the office because of a “rumor.” I didn’t vote for a person who goes around town talking to those who like to bad mouth our Town Council in the paper, or persons disrespecting our town manager by referring to her as a town clerk in a recent article. Why were you not mentioned in the same article about missing meetings only others were, how convenient is that (one sided). The Council I serve are doing a great job and also have a lot of Mammoth citizen support. This council is very active in the community with the seniors, youth groups, several out of town meetings to benefit our town, and positive changes for growth. I also didn’t forget a recent council meeting where you gave yourself all the credit for the neighborhood watch program, and never mentioned my officer who did a lot of work on the same program. You should give the officer at pat on the back for his hard work and not your’re own. The Mammoth employee’s are working hard to better our town so why don’t you talk about that. The town pars and roads are shaping up why don’t you put that in the paper. No you want to write about a council member resigning matters going to court, and getting copies of minutes and tapes? it feels like Patricia Johnson all over again. What Council member resigned Mr. Brewer please show everyone this document. You also want to mudsling about the Mayor being late to a discussion and you not wanting to repeat yourself. That same Councilman has a 40 plus hour a week job not to mention his long drive to and from work, weekly meetings, family time, and is not retired with much time on his hands. Mr. Brewer maybe it’s time you try talking things out with your peers instead of listening to negative rumors around town and always trying to stir the pot. Hang in there Mayor, Vice Mayor, and the rest of the positive Council because there are many citizens in Mammoth supporting you, and I feel good things are coming by the end of this year.
