Red Cross blood drive a success

The Red Cross Blood Drive held at the Oracle Community Center was a great success. There was an excellent turnout of donors. Perhaps the holiday spirit of giving was still alive in the community. Among the many donors was longtime San Manuel and Oracle resident Isabel Stubblefield. She was donating for the 75th time. She said that her father used to take her and her siblings when they were kids along when he donated. He used to donate frequently and she is carrying on the tradition. Every blood donation has the potential to save three lives. Blood is needed in times of emergencies, for cancer victims, premature babies, and patients with chronic diseases. Help save lives by donating regularly and frequently. (John Hernandez photo)
