Rebecca Reyes Luera

  Rebecca “Becky” Reyes Luera, of Phoenix, passed away peacefully at the age of 84, on Dec. 16, 2016. She was born in Sonora In 1932, the daughter of Andres “Beto” Reyes and Josefina Castro Reyes of Leon Guanajuato Mexico. Rebecca  retired after 20 years with Motorola and worked with Gila River Wild Horse Pass for 13 years.
  She is survived by her sons, David Luera of Moreno Valley CA, Enrique Luera of Phoenix and Rene Luera of Tucson; stepdaughter, Bea Parco of Phoenix; 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernesto Luera, daughter Carmen Luera and son Ernesto Luera, Jr.; her brother Alberto Reyes, and sisters: Virginia Cabrea, Matilda Gutierrez, Martina Luz Reyes, and Ramona Reyes Lieciga; and 5 other siblings.
  Services will be held on Monday, Dec. 26 at Resthaven Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial gardens, 4310 E. Southern Ave. in Phoenix. Viewing will be from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. with burial to follow.
