Ray Unified School District Winter Festival Concert

Kearny- On Thurs., Dec. 12, at 7 pm the Ray Unified School District Band program will be holding its Winter Festival Concert in the auditorium, featuring age-old favorites by famous composers and a few giving honor to the American military.
The program starts with Ray Elementary School Fifth Grade Band performing Shoo Fly, Good King Wenceslas, Jolly Ol’ Saint Nicholas, and Jingle Bells.

Following, the Ray Elementary School Sixth Grade Band will play the Lone Star Waltz, Bavarian Folk Dance, Rocking Around the Christmas Tree, and Ode To Joy.

Then, the Ray Junior High School Concert Band will then perform the Russian Sleigh Rock, Carol of the Bells, Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer, and Swingin’ Into Christmas.

Lastly, the  Ray High School Wind Ensemble will perform You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch,   Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!,Navy Hymn (Eternal Father Strong To Save),  A Tribute to the men & women of the USS Arizona– December 7, 1941, Pearl Harbor, Hawai’i,  Country Gardens,  A Charlie Brown Celebration and Sleigh Ride.

It’ll be a great night of entertainment for the whole family.
