Head baseball coach Bobby Meza is satisfied with the start to the season for his team and expects the experiences in the early season to pay off in the future.
“I feel the second half of the season we’re going to step it up and have a good run to the playoffs,” Meza said. “I have a good group of kids, including some that haven’t played before and all of them are coming along well.”
Coach Meza has a young team as six starters on the ball club are 7th graders, but coach Meza won’t change his approach.
“I have high expectations for every team I coach. Regardless of wins and losses, we are preparing the young men for high school baseball. That’s my main goal.”
Coach Meza’s staff includes his father Bill Meza and his cousin Tony Meza, Jr.
