A total of 11 players and coaches from the Copper Area were selected to participate in the AZ Baseball Coaches Association Div. IV All-Star Game. The Ray Bearcats were represented by three players and two coaches.

Ray head baseball coach Rene Pacheco and assistant coach Dennis Warner were joined by pitcher Alex Carrera, outfielder Jacob Wernett, and first baseman Daniel Harmon on the South team.

The game was played on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Surprise Baseball Stadium, the spring training home of the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals. Despite a strong showing by the South team, the North team won, 14 – 5.
