Pinal Mountain Foundation Scholarships awarded

On Dec. 13, the Pinal Mountain Foundation for Higher Education awarded 14 scholarships totaling $6,400 to students attending Gila Community College’s Gila Pueblo Campus in Globe and San Carlos Campus for the spring 2014 which starts Jan. 8.

The scholarships awarded include funds from Pinal Mountain Foundation for Higher Education Scholarship Fund, Elder Quality of Life Scholarship Fund, the Freeport McMoRan Scholarship Fund, the Shawn Boxell Memorial Scholarship Fund, the Scott Johnson Memorial Scholarship Fund, Walmart Scholarship Fund, and the Native American Book Fund.

For more information about becoming involved in PMFHE contact Bryan at 812-0098. All proceeds from PMFHE fundraisers are used for scholarships to deserving students attending GCC’s San Carlos and Gila Pueblo campuses.
