Pinal County Sheriff’s Report Oct. 29-Nov. 4

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Report is taken from the daily logs, based on the information provided by deputies. All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Oct. 29

Laura L. Villaescusa, 23, Oracle, was arrested in the 600 block of San Carlos, San Manuel, and was charged with aggravated harassment. She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail in Florence.

Theft of a car battery, butane tank and vehicle motor was reported int he 200 block of E. Avenue G, San Manuel.

Oct. 30

A car fire was reported in the 200 block of S. Avenue B, San Manuel. A call was made to PCSO at 1:51 a.m. The caller reported that a Jeep was on fire at a home across the street. Another vehicle and the home were also catching fire. Both vehicles were declared a total loss and the home sustained partial damage. The case was turned over to detectives due to the suspicious nature of the fire.

Vehicle theft was reported in the 39000 block of S. Old Arena Dr., Eagle Crest. The vehicle was described as a green 1990 Toyota 4-Runner.

Burglary was reported in the 39000 block of S. Old Arena Dr., Eagle Crest. Loose change was taken from a vehicle.

Theft of chrome wheels and off road tires was reported in the area of E. Main St. and S. McNab Pkwy., San Manuel.

Jessica Ann Avalos, 39, Superior, was arrested in the area of Hill and Stone, Superior, on a failure to appear warrant. She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail in Florence.

Duane Edward Nichols, 53, Superior, was arrested in the area of Belmont and Valentine, Superior, on a failure to appear warrant. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Oct. 31

Laura L. Villaescusa, 23, Oracle, was arrested in the area of Tierra Verde, San Manuel, and was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to comply with a court order. She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Theft was reported in the 700 block of N. Two O’Clock Hill Rd., Oracle.

Assault was reported at the San Manuel High School.

Nov. 1

Andrew John Iverson, 37, Oracle, was arrested in the 500 block of Oak Hills Dr., Oracle, and was charged with aggravated assault. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Theft was reported in the 500 block of N. Redbud Pl., Oracle.

A missing woman was reported in the 65000 block of E. Rolling Hills Dr., SaddleBrooke. The woman, who is in the early stages of Alzheimer’s, wandered away from her home. A neighbor found her and brought her home.

Nov. 2

Frederick Paul Penifold, 57, Oracle, was arrested in the area of Peppersauce Canyon on a warrant for interfering with judicial proceedings. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Theft was reported in the area of S. Highway 77 and S. Camino Rio, Mammoth. Taken were four batteries valued at $1,200.

Criminal damage was reported in the 600 block of S. San Carlos St., San Manuel. A window was broken.

Nov. 3

Theft of a motorcycle was reported in the 2100 block of W. El Paseo, Oracle.

Theft of a GPS unit from a vehicle was reported in the 60000 block of E. Alpine Way, SaddleBrooke.

Nov. 4

Burglary was reported in the 2600 block of W. El Paseo, Oracle. The school campus was burglarized.

Criminal damage was reported in the 900 block of W. Fourth Ave., San Manuel. A vehicle was egged.

An unattended death was reported in the 200 block of E. Fourth St., San Manuel.

Criminal damage was reported in the 300 block of S. Avenue B, San Manuel, at the Avenue B Elementary School. A fence was damaged.

Carmelita Elena Apodaca, 32, Superior, was arrested in the area of E. Valentine, Superior, and was charged with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and one county of possession of marijuana. She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.
