Pinal County Sheriff’s Report

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Report is taken from the daily logs, based on the information provided by deputies. All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Feb. 15

Jeffrey A. Jones, 49, Superior, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail in Florence.

Ronnie A. Valdez, 46, San Manuel, was arrested in the area of McNab Parkway, San Manuel, on a warrant for failure to comply with a court order. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail in Florence.

Luis M. Castro, 45, Eagle Crest, was arrested in the 60000 block of E. Twisted Snaffle, Eagle Crest, and was charged with disorderly conduct. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Victor Garcia Soto Jr., 44, Superior, was arrested in the area of W. Gorham St., Superior, on a failure to appear warrant. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Robert Dwain Dood, 47, Des Moines, Iowa, was arrested in the area of Wilhoyt and Highway 60, Superior, and was charged with threatening/intimidation and disorderly conduct. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Evelyn Velma Estrada, 42, Superior, was arrested in the 500 block of Main St., Superior, on a failure to appear warrant. She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

A vehicle was reported stolen in the 600 block of N. John Adams St., Oracle. It was later determined that the vehicle’s other registered owner had taken it.

Burglary from a vehicle was reported in the 500 block of S. Ladera St., San Manuel.

Feb. 16

Ronnie Lee Moore Jr., 23, Superior, was arrested at milepost 216 on Highway 60, Superior, and was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of dangerous drugs for sale. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Criminal damage was reported in the 2000 block of W. Calle Encanto, Oracle. A vehicle’s tire was punctured.

Burglary was reported in the 1200 block of N. Timberline Dr., Oracle. The person reporting the burglary called back and withdrew the report, saying they had located the missing items.

A runaway juvenile was reported in the 900 block of S. El Camino Viejo, Queen Valley.

Criminal damage was reported in the 22000 block of S. Shooting Star Rd., SaddleBrooke. A fence was cut down and a well damaged.

A 92-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s was reported missing in the 36000 block of S. Cactus Ln., SaddleBrooke. She was located approximately 100 yards from her residence. Golder Ranch Fire Department was dispatched to evaluate her.

Feb. 17

James Robert Wick, 41, Tucson, was arrested in the area of Willow Spring Ranch, Oracle, and was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

A vehicle fire inside a residential garage was reported in the 62000 block of E. Amberwood Dr., SaddleBrooke. The vehicle’s owner was working on the vehicle when it exploded. By the time PCSO and Golder Ranch Fire Department arrived on scene, the home was fully engulfed in flames.

Criminal damage was reported in the area of E. Willow Springs Dr. and E. Suffering Gulch, Oracle. A campsite was destroyed.

Burglary was reported in the 400 block of S. Encina Pl., San Manuel.

A silver Buick Enclave that had been reported as stolen was recovered in the area of N. Perlite Rd. and Highway 60, Superior.

Feb. 18

Teresa D. Caldera, 37, Kearny, was arrested in the 33000 block of N. Walnut Canyon, Kearny, on a failure to appear warrant. She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail in Florence.

Theft of a vehicle was reported in the 44000 block of E. Cadillac Wash Rd., SaddleBrooke. The vehicle was described as a red Polaris quad.

Feb. 19

Theft of jewelry was reported in the 64000 block of E. Galveston Ln., SaddleBrooke.

Feb. 20

Charles Anthony Vega, 37, Hayden, was arrested in the 700 block of Alden Rd., Kearny, and was charged with theft and trafficking in stolen property. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

An accident without injuries was reported in the area of N. Cody Loop Rd. and E. Mt. Lemmon Highway, Oracle. A small school bus slid off the road when the snow got too deep.

A semi-truck jackknifed on American Ave. at Highway 77, Oracle, due to the snow.

Feb. 21

Richard Jesse Garcia Jr., 28, San Manuel, was arrested in the area of Redington Road, San Manuel, and was charged with threatening/intimidation and fighting/disruptive behavior. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

An accident with injuries was reported in the area of S. Willow Springs Rd. and E. Pipeline Rd., Oracle. A white Ford truck rolled over and the driver was trapped inside. A passing driver stopped and helped her get out of the vehicle. Due to the snowy, icy conditions, the vehicle was unable to be towed.

Burglary from a storage shed was reported in the area of W. Oro Viejo Dr., Queen Valley.
