The Pinal County Sheriff’s Report is taken from the daily logs, based on the information provided by deputies. All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Feb. 14

Theft was reported in the 35000 block of S. Wind Crest Dr., SaddleBrooke.

Feb. 15

PCSO and Kearny Police Department assisted Superior Police at the Circle K in Superior with an arrest. The SPD officer deployed his Taser before the situation was under control.

Feb. 16

PCSO assisted Mammoth Police with an assault in the 700 block of N. Highway 77, Mammoth.

An accident without injuries was reported in the area of W. American Ave. and N. Rancho Robles Rd., Oracle.

Criminal damage was reported in the 1900 block of W. El Paseo, Oracle.

A concerned citizen reported finding a gravesite in the area of N. Peccary Rd. and E. US Highway 60, Queen Valley. Detectives and an anthropologist/medical examiner confirmed that the bones found were not human, but those of a cow or calf.

Criminal damage to a van was reported in the 300 block of S. Avenue B, San Manuel.

Criminal damage was reported in the 200 block of S. Avenue B, San Manuel. A vehicle’s window was shattered.

Criminal damage was reported in the 52000 block of E. US Highway 60, Top of the World. The home’s door was shattered and a vehicle’s tires were slashed.

Feb. 17

Several controlled fires were reported to PCSO in the area of S. Highway 77, Dudleyville. The calls were turned over to Dudleyville Fire Department.

Criminal damage was reported in the 48000 block of E. Stringer St., Kearny. A vehicle’s headlights were broken.

A driver in the 83000 block of E. Cuesta St., Mammoth, was arrested, cited and released for driving while under the influence of alcohol.

Feb. 18

Dylan L. Capone, 20, Queen Valley, was arrested in the 500 block of N. Jay St., Queen Valley, and was charged with being a fugitive of justice. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail in Florence.

Assault was reported in the area of E. SaddleBrooke Blvd., SaddleBrooke.

Feb. 19

Theft of a golf cart was reported in the 61000 block of E. Redwood Dr., SaddleBrooke. It was later discovered that the owner’s son had taken the cart and left it on the course.

Theft was reported in the 65000 block of E. Rose Ridge Dr., SaddleBrooke.

Feb. 20

Criminal damage was reported in the area of W. Oak Hills Dr. and W. Robles St., Oracle.

Feb. 21

A dog bite was reported in the 80000 block of E. Cactus Dr., Dudleyville.

Burglary was reported in the 60000 block of E. Rock Ledge Loop, SaddleBrooke.

Feb. 22

Ethan T. Simpson, 19, Sierra Vista, was arrested in the San Manuel area and was charged with aggravated assault, criminal damage, failure to appear and resisting arrest. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

A rock climber in the Oak Flat Campground was fatally injured when a boulder fell on his head. PCSO’s Search and Rescue was dispatched to the scene.
