Pinal County Sheriff’s Office report Dec. 26 to Jan. 2

  The Pinal County Sheriff’s Report is taken from the daily logs, based on the information provided by deputies. All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Dec. 26

A juvenile male, 17, Mammoth, was arrested in San Manuel on a summons for shoplifting. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail in Florence.

Omar David Villa, 27, Tucson, was arrested in the SaddleBrooke area and was charged with driving on a suspended license. He was cited and released.

Armando Ray Dominguez, 23, Oracle, was arrested in the 31000 block of S. Misty Basin, SaddleBrooke Ranch, and was charged with assault and aggravated assault on a police officer. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Burglary was reported in the 19000 block of S. River Rd., Mammoth.

Dec. 27

Theft was reported in the 700 block of W. Robles St., Oracle. A television was taken.

Shots were fired at and struck a home in the 800 block of W. Sunset Ave., Oracle. There were no injuries.

Theft of reindeer Christmas decorations from a lawn was reported in the 39000 block of S. Cinch Strap Pl., Eagle Crest.

Dec. 28

Stephen Daniel Martinez, 56, Superior, was arrested in the 800 block of W. Highway 60, Superior, on two failure to appear warrants. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail in Florence.

Mary Magdalene Searrin, 38, Globe, was arrested in the area of W. Hill St. and S. Stone Ave., Superior, on warrants for interfering with judicial proceedings, dangerous drug violations and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Dec. 29

Benjamin Fuentes, 38, Superior, was arrested in the 500 block of Valentine St., Superior, on three failure to appear warrants. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Criminal damage was reported in the 86000 block of E. Los Molina St., Mammoth.

Dec. 30

Steven Michael Granillo, 22, Superior, was arrested in the 500 block of W. Hill St., Superior, and was charged with interfering with judicial proceedings. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Dec. 31

A concerned citizen in the 37000 block of S. Hollygreen Dr., SaddleBrooke, reported to PCSO that he had received more than 15 calls from an elderly gentleman who was trying to reach the Catalina Medical Center. The call was traced to a residence in the 8700 block of N. La Cholla Blvd., Tucson, in Pima County. Pima County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a welfare check on the address and found a 90-year-old man who was dialing the wrong number. He was in the care of caretakers at a retirement home. Everything was secure.

Jan. 1

An accident with injuries was reported in the 1600 block of N. Calle Futura, Oracle. A Toyota Front Runner was located in the area of Calle Futura and El Paseo without a driver. The airbag had deployed and blood was found on the airbag. The driver was located at home and had sustained only a bloody nose in the crash. A utility box was damaged and the electric company was notified.

Harley William Carter Jr., 57, Dudleyville, was arrested in the 76000 block of E. Brave Way, Dudleyville, on two failure to appear warrants. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Julio R. Varela, 60, Winkelman, was arrested in the area of Dudleyville Road and Highway 77, Dudleyville, on two failure to appear warrants. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Jan. 2

Michael Anthony Walker, 24, San Manuel, was arrested in the area of Cody Loop Rd. and Mt. Lemmon Highway, Oracle, and was charged with possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Jason Neal Ball, 37, Tucson, was arrested in the 1000 block of E. American Ave., Oracle, and was charged with criminal trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Possible poisoning of a dog was reported in the 1800 block of W. Alex Austin Dr., Oracle. PCSO agreed to conduct extra patrols in the area.

Theft of a vehicle was reported in the 48000 block of E. Britton Way, SaddleBrooke. The vehicle was described as a blue 2002 Dodge Ram one-ton dually. The location of the theft was determined to be in Pima County and the call was turned over to Pima County Sheriff’s Office.

An accident with injuries was reported in the area of S. Ridgeview Blvd. and S. Spoon Dr., SaddleBrooke. A golf cart overturned and landed on the driver. The driver was transported to Northwest Hospital in Tucson.
