Effective Monday, October 27th, 2014 Jim Knupp will take over duties as the Pinal County Sheriff’s Public Information Officer. Mr. Knupp previously worked for the Pinal County Attorney’s Office as their public information officer since March of 2013.

Sergeant Pat Ramirez who was temporarily filling the position is a sworn supervisor and will be returning to other duties required of his position.

Sheriff Paul Babeu stated, “Sergeant Pat Ramirez did an excellent job while serving as our Public Information Officer. As a sworn supervisor we are needing his skill sets in other areas of the Sheriff’s Office. Jim Knupp will help enhance our communications with members of the media and the public we serve.”
