The Mammoth Softball League received a welcome surprise on Saturday as Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu visited the Mammoth softball field to present the league with a donation check. The check was presented to Albert Mendibles in the amount of $2,000.

The newly reformed league started the season needing equipment and supplies. Mendibles said they were really surprised by the amount they received from the Sheriff’s office.

The money for the donation comes from RICO funds which are forfeited and confiscated money and property taken from criminals. The Mammoth Softball League would again like to thank Sheriff Babeu for the kind donation.
