Peggy Clement, 80, went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2020.  She was the widow of Edward Clement Sr. They shared 45 years together.  He was the love of her life and she his.

Born in Spur, Texas on Sept. 18, 1939, Peggy was the daughter of Pat and Orien Patterson.  She graduated from San Manuel High School in 1958 and was employed at Magma Copper Company, working as a Senior Buyer until 1999 when she retired.

Peggy was a faithful Christian.  She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all extended family who were truly loved like immediate family members. Every single day she spent time with at least one of her “precious angels” (being her grandchildren and great-grandchildren). She loved to laugh, play cards and spend time telling stories. She was a mom to many and a granny to everyone.  She will be remembered for her unconditional love; she always saw the good in everyone and everything.  If you ever needed anything, you could always count on her to be there!

She was also proud to call herself a “Miner”. She loved to attend every San Manuel High School class reunion.  She always looked forward to spending time with her friends from high school.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Clement Sr.

Peggy is survived by her children, Eddie Clement Jr., Tommy Clement, Teresa (Danny) First, and Debbie (Rick) Cunningham; and grandchildren, Kedi Clement, Bubba Clement, Kelin Clement, TJ Buzan, Brandon Buzan, Chaz Buzan, Dusty First, Tad First, Laci Clement. She had 21 great-grandchildren with number 22, Scotty Clement (who she named), on his way.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the funeral service will be on Sept. 5, 2020 at 10 a.m.  It will be held at the Funeraria Del Angel South Lawn, 5401 S. Park Ave., Tucson, AZ 85706.
