Queen Creek– Uncle Bears Grill & Tap in Queen Creek, AZ has teamed up with local animal rescue “Animal Doctors to the RESCUE” to raise funds to help give sick or injured unwanted pets a second chance at life. Now through August 31st, patrons at the Uncle Bears Grill & Tap in Queen Creek can make a donation to help unwanted sick or injured animals and in return receive a paw print in their honor to be displayed in the restaurant.

“Animal Doctors to the RESCUE only takes on special needs cases. The average cost from intake to adoption can be as high as $2,000 – $5,000 for each sick or injured unwanted pet” said Susan Stone Wiggins, Executive Vice President and Founder, Animal Doctors to the RESCUE. “The generosity from animal lovers in our community, like Uncle Bear’s Grill & Tap, means we can save more pets’ lives”. Josh Allison, Owner, Uncle Bears Grill & Tap adds “Dogs have a very special place in our hearts. We celebrate their lives and the joy they give us every day at Uncle Bear’s. Animal Doctors to the Rescue shares our values when it comes to our beloved pets. I also must thank the guests and staff of Uncle Bear’s that have made this such a success.” To date the “Paw Days of August” campaign has received over $2,800 in donations and over 500 paw prints are currently on display in the restaurant.
