Pastor’s Corner: Saying Yes to the Lord

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmailby feather

1Chronicles 13:2 tells us, “If it seems good to you and if it is the will of the Lord our God, let us . . .”  God uses people like you and I to accomplish His will and purpose.

We don’t need any special skills or extraordinary abilities.  We do need a yielded and willing heart that is ready to say ‘yes’ to the Lord.

Jesus says in Matthew 12 that those who do the will of Father God are a part of His family.  David, in Psalm 143 says:  “teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; may Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.”

Yes, it does seem good to obey the Lord’s will.  First of all – seek God’s Kingdom and His righteousness.  Then, He will give you His wonderful blessings and great favor.  That seems very good!
