Pastor’s Corner: Open the door to Jesus

Isaiah 59:2 tells us that our sins separate us from God and cause His face to be hidden from us so that He will not hear us.

It doesn’t have to be that way.  When Jesus Christ died on the cross, He did so to remove our sins.  God, because He is God, is holy; that means without any sin, error or wrong doing.  So, if we plan on going to heaven, we must accept Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross for us.

Sin acts like a wall between us and God.  It keeps us away from any blessings that could have been ours.  Besides that, it shuts down communication between us.  In order to get guidance and wisdom from God, we must be able to hear His voice.

Stop the sin in your life and you will open the door to heaven.  Open that door and you will see His face and hear His voice.  That is the beginning of a wonderful relationship with Jesus!
