Acts 7:22 says, “Moses was educated in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was powerful in speech and action.” Yet, in Exodus 4:10 Moses tells the Lord, “I have never been eloquent. I am slow of speech and tongue.”
Sometimes, in the midst of God’s blessings, we just don’t grasp or understand what is really happening. At times, we are so used to living the blessed life, that we no longer see what He is doing in our lives. We tend to take it all for granted.
Moses denied his top of the line education. With it came great responsibility. In Exodus 4, he tries to talk God out of the call on his life. He made excuses, but God showed him the answer to each one.
Thank the Lord for all the good things in your life; your family, marriage, relationships, job, hobbies, etc. When God says He loves you, don’t disagree with Him. Don’t ignore His love.
Moses made excuses for God’s blessings. Don’t do that. Give God the glory for all that He has done for you. Take a step back, and view your life from a distance. Realize how wonderful the Lord has been to you and just how wonderful your life really is. Tell Him how thankful you are from deep within your heart. Let your thanks be real and meaningful.
