Pastor’s Corner: Back in His Loving Arms

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmailby feather

The prophet Isaiah spoke these words in chapter 59, “Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor His ear too dull to hear.  But your sins have separated you from your God.”

Like any good relationship, when one party goes in the wrong direction, it soon falls apart.  If we allow sin to take control of our lives, our friendship with God suffers and falls apart.

Even in our sin, God still loves us.  It is only the sin and wrong doing that He hates.  His love breaks through the attitudes that caused the separation.  We are set free from the pain and sorrow the Lord felt as we “did our own thing.”

He is always listening from Heaven.  So call upon the Lord, ask forgiveness and make the decision to always tell Him how much you love Him.  His grace and mercy will surround your thoughts, attitudes and actions.  You are back in His loving arms!
