The Panthers celebrated their seniors with a 24 – 4 victory over San Carlos on Apr. 18. It was the Panthers’ last home game of the season as they sent off Christine Grap, Yulissa Sandoval, and Aliya Perez in style.

The three seniors each played a role in the victory. In addition to playing shortstop, Grap pitched two innings and had four strikeouts. Sandoval had three hits in the game, including a homerun and two singles. She also played well defensively in left field and center field. Perez played second base and had two hits in the game, both singles.

The seniors also received some contributions from their younger teammates as Gabby Salcido, Hunter Flanagan, Ariel Alonzo, and Mariza Padilla each hit homeruns in the contest.

The Panthers close out their season with games at Salt River and at Duncan on Apr. 23 and Apr. 24, respectively.
