The Superior Panthers boys’ basketball team suffered losses in both games it played last week. They were defeated by Ft. Thomas (62 – 24) and St. Johns (75 – 24).

Freshman Austin Navarrette led the Panthers in scoring versus Ft. Thomas with seven points. Junior Ricky Longoria led the team in rebounds with seven. Longoria accounted for 19 of the Panthers 24 points in the game against St. Johns. Navarrette led the team with six rebounds.

The Panthers have now lost three games in row after earning their first win of the season on December 17, 2013 versus Hayden. They’ll look to return to the win column with games at Duncan on January 17, 2014 and at Ft. Thomas on January 21. Both games tipoff at 7:00 p.m.
