Pantherettes’ trio star in win against Miami

  Seniors Augie-Lou Hing and Anisah Cardenas combined for 23 points and six steals while junior Hailey Neal grabbed 10 rebounds and recorded a game-high seven steals for the Superior girls’ basketball team in its 40 – 33 victory last Thursday against visiting Miami.

  Cardenas finished with a game-high 14 points on 6-of-13 shooting to go along with four steals and Hing added nine points with a pair of steals. Hing also had a team-high four assists in the win.

  Aubrianna Duarte (8), Marlee Estatico (7), and Dolores Ramirez (6) joined Neal in crashing the boards for the Pantherettes.

Up next:  Dec. 20 vs. Ft. Thomas and Dec. 21 at Hayden. Both games are scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
