Kearny – Overeaters Anonymous (O.A.) has started a local meeting in Kearny.
Snacking is a common way to feel rewarded for a job well done, to find comfort, to alleviate boredom, to enhance companionship, to get energized and to celebrate. Many of us find ourselves grazing throughout the day.
O.A. is a program that has a long success record for those who are willing to follow a few steps and meet with others for support. There are no dues or fees associated with this program.
If you are thinking of losing a few pounds or seeking help to find your self control joining Overeaters Anonymous can be your source of support and education.
Meetings will take place once a week on Friday evenings at 6 p.m., at Ray Hall, beside the Church of the Good Shepherd, located at the bottom of School Hill Rd.
For further information, come to the meeting next Friday or call Bob J. at 520-464-2156.
