San Manuel, AZ – Over the Top RC Track, one of the largest RC tracks open to the public, has reopened. The track is open to all, with a focus on children 5-15 years of age. Members are being sought to help with maintenance.

Registration forms are available for pick up at the track during swim practice or you can request a PDF file by emailing tricomrc@gmail.com. Child Members must be between 5-15 years of age. They will receive free use of the loaner cars, but, must provide their own battery or rent one for $3 per pack. Adults may register, but, must volunteer time to help with the track.

Member benefits include free practice Monday though Friday during swim practice from 4 to 6 p.m. and most weekends, discounted race fees, free one-on-one challenge races and 50 percent off AKA tires for bulk orders. Other discounts may be available for members in the future.

In addition, members may attend workshops on shock building, suspension tuning, painting, complete car rebuild and more. Workshops will be held Sat. evenings after racing.

The track is looking forward to the installation of a timing system this year. The schematics and parts list are already in place. Volunteers who are experienced in electronics are sought to help with the build.

The Over The Top crew has several cars for sale ranging from $125 – $400. Contact organizers by email if you are interested.
