Celeste Andresen makes a presentation about the Pinal Partnership Open Space and Trails Committee.

  On Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016, at the Oracle State Park, a talk and slideshow was presented by Celeste Andresen a volunteer with the Pinal Partnership Open Space and Trails Committee. The informative presentation gave an overview of the Pinal Partnership Open Space & Trails Committee, what they do, their mission and the importance of conserving the Sonoran Desert open space areas in Pinal County. A slideshow and talk on the some of the beautiful areas to visit and enjoy and their flora and fauna was well done by Celeste who also is the 7B Ranch Manager & Outreach Liaison Lower San Pedro River for the Nature Conservancy.

  Some of the areas highlighted included Picketpost Mountain near Superior, the Aravaipa Wilderness, Lower San Pedro River, Picacho State Park, Gila River and the Arizona National Scenic Trail.
