The theme for this year’s Oracle Schools Foundation Gala is “Read to Succeed”, which continues the focus on early childhood education with an emphasis on literacy. The Gala will take place on November 5th, 2016 at 5:30 pm at The Vistas at SaddleBrooke’s HOA #1 clubhouse and will feature Arizona’s 2016 Teacher of the Year, Christine Marsh, as the keynote speaker. Individual tickets are again $50 and sponsorships are available.

The first Gala was very successful, netting over $17,000, which allowed the Foundation to award 12 needs-based scholarships for preschool. The SaddleBag Notes Board and the SaddleBrooke Community Outreach Education Committee each funded two more scholarships, which brought the total number to 16. These students are now in Mt. Vista’s Kindergarten Prep preschool program learning what they need to know to be successful in kindergarten and well beyond.

The Foundation’s mission is to provide financial and related support to ensure every Oracle student has unlimited opportunity to succeed.  The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization (EIN number is 47-3726893) and donations made to the Foundation are deductible from your federal taxes, or for businesses, may be counted as a marketing expense.

You can learn more about the Foundation and the Gala, buy tickets for the event, or pay for a sponsorship on the website at: http://www.oracleschoolsfoundation.com/Events.html or you can send a check to:  Oracle Schools Foundation, P.O. Box 5454, Oracle, AZ  85623.

The 2016 Gala promises to be fun and rewarding. Your support will help the Oracle Schools Foundation achieve their vision to be a beacon of excellence in public education!
