Oracle – On Apr. 20, the Annual Oracle Oaks Festival, a tradition dating back to 1986, began with its now legendary pancake breakfast at 7 a.m. There was live music all day, from the Dusty River Boys and the Mother Cody Band. Of course, there were also parades, arts, crafts, food and games and many other delights to be enjoyed by the 4,000 in attendance.

Along with the other fun to be had, parade awards were bestowed upon participants.

Instructor Danielle Neibling and student Ciarrah Waukon received the award for Most Beautiful in Horses. Most Humorous went to Smokey the Bear; Most Historical was won by the Miller family in Horse and Buckboard;

Mountain Vista School won Most Original, while Best Design was garnered by Mt. Health & Wellness from the San Pedro Valley. Cadillac Chaparral received their award for Most Colorful, the Oracle Fire Department won Best Use of Local Materials, Desert Willow Aikido won Best Costume
and Most Enthusiastic was won by Little Hooves and Big Hearts.

Special thanks go out to Oracle Ford for going above and beyond to support the 28th Annual Oaks Festival and to the community for their support of the Community Center. All your help and support has helped make this annual community event one to remember for years to come.
