The 30th Annual Oracle Spring Run Car Show, which took place during the Oracle Oaks Festival, followed the ever-popular time-honored formula of a car show, parade, swap meet, craft fair and book sale.
The car parade ran through Oracle, starting at 9:30 a.m., ending at the Pinal County Courthouse Park where owners set up their cars, popped their hoods and waited for the accolades to pour in. The vehicles sparkled in the glorious April Oracle sunshine, ready to be judged and trophies to be awarded. With more than 117 beauties to choose from, judges must have found these decisions difficult.
And this year’s winners are:
• Best Truck in Show,(Gilbert) 1956 Studebaker Pickup
• Best Car in Show, Willie Rich (Tucson) 1938 Dodge Panel Van
• Best Interior, Dee Moore (Oracle) 1957 Chevy Belair
• Best Paint, Paul Harrison (Green Valley) 1932 Ford Three-Window Coupe
• Best Engine, Brent Guyton (Marana) 1965 Ford Mustang
All proceeds from the Spring Run Car show, including the food booth benefit the Oracle Historical Society.
