At the Oracle Farmers Market

  The Oracle Farmers Market opened for the season on Wednesday, April 5.  The market had new vendors as well as their regular line up of Dave and his produce, Isaac and his famous salsa and barbecue sauce, Jim and his blade sharpener, Dirty Sno with their sno cone concoctions and Terry selling her unique jewelry. Dan and Wendy of Just Tacos were there providing tacos, tostadas and Navajo tacos.

  Some of the new vendors included the White Bell Soap Company selling handcrafted goat’s milk soap, lotions and soy candles; Dawn Degara was there with her massage chair; Karen Lombardi was selling her “Artwork Enhancing the Frame” and Jewelry by Guatemala; Nicki Herdrick had handmade aprons and art embellished flip flops for sale;  the Peppersauce Kitchen from Arizona Zipline Adventures brought their chuckwagon where they were selling fresh baked artisan breads; Kathryn had jars of ready to cook dry soup mixes; and Gloria, Crazy Grandma and the Cupcake Lady had delicious cupcakes and other items for sale.

  JJ’s A Gift Gallery is open with a variety of gift items and art. Jimmie has selected Cara Sprouls as this month’s Artist of the Month. Cara has Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is an accomplished artist. April is Autism Awareness Month and to help bring attention to autism, Jimmie chose Cara’s remarkable art work. Come by and take a look. Sue & Jerry’s is also open during the Farmers Market.

Jennifer Rinio and Ric Volante at the Oracle Farmers Market

  Jennifer Rinio and Ric Volante provided the entertainment playing a variety of music including bluegrass, classic rock, folk and country. They are a popular duo in the area. The Oracle Farmers Market seems to be growing and is now known as a place to go on Wednesday evenings, have fun, get something to eat and purchase some unique items. The Farmers Market is open on Wednesdays 5 to 8 p.m. It is located at Sue & Jerry’s Trading Post, 1015 W. American Ave. Everyone is welcome! Vendors can set up at 4:30. Cost for vendors is $5 to set up a table and $10 if you need electricity.
