At a special meeting of the Oracle School Board held Thursday evening, the Board voted to accept the deal allowing Superintendent Todd Kissick to resign in lieu of termination. The Board voted three to one to execute the release of claims agreement made with Kissick’s attorney. Board member Jeff McClure voted no, asking the Board to consider termination during an earlier discussion.
No details concerning pay and benefits for Mr. Kissick were announced at the public meeting.
The Board then went into executive sessions to interview Dennis Blauser and Nannette Soulé for the position of interim Superintendent. The Board then selected Dennis Blauser as the interim Superintendent for a three month period. The Board will use the time to search for and hire a full time Superintendent.
