Pinal Rural Fire Rescue is celebrating National EMS Week with a program at the Mammoth Elementary School multi-purpose room on Saturday May 26 from 12:00 to 5:00 pm. The Day of Celebration includes free gift bags for the kids, appreciation pins for the volunteers, free blood pressure checks, and a spaghetti fund raiser dinner to benefit Pinal Rural Fire Rescue. The dinner includes home made spaghetti, beverage and dessert for $5.00.
There will be a special recognition to honor fire and EMS volunteers. The new “Borrow an AED” program which will be available for school or public events will be explained. The Fire Service Explorer Post program will be holding their :First Day” where parents and youth can learn about the program and sign up to join Explorer Post #625. National EMS Week brings together local communities and emergency medical personnel to publicize safety and honor those emergency personnel that provide day to day life saving services.
