One Week Left of the Arizona State Fair
Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum Concert Series: October 26 – 29

Phoenix, Ariz.- What a ride. This year’s concerts at the Arizona State Fair have been stellar. But guess what? There are still four great shows coming up that deserve your attention. Let’s see what’s in store the last week of the Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum Concert Series.

Let Rocktober commence! Pivotal American thrash metal megaliths Slayer are bursting their way onto the Coliseum stage on Wednesday, October 26. Get ready for a night in headbanging heaven as these hard rockers rip through classics from their 30+ year catalog. Concert starts at 7 p.m.

We heart the 90’s at the Arizona State Fair, and so should you. Get ready for alt-rockers Garbage onThursday, October 27. Dust off your ripped jeans and flannels and ready your ears for grungy riffs and industrial blips. Earlier this year, Garbage released their sixth studio album Strange Little Birds, so expect some new material on their set list. Concert starts at 7 p.m.

Need a pick me up? Let the soulful songwriting of singers Gavin Degraw and Andy Grammer lift your spirits. On Friday, October 28, right in the midst of their co-headlining North American tour, Degraw and Grammer will grace the Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum with unforgettable performances. Concert starts at7 p.m.

On Saturday, October 29, kick it old school and boogie on down to the Arizona State Fair for Old School Jam. This will be a night filled with R&B, funk, disco, and hip hop. So get your dancing shoes ready for paramount performances by the SOS Band, One Way, Evelyn “Champagne” King, and Grandmaster’s Furious Five featuring Melle Mel & Scorpio with Rob Base. Concert starts at 7 p.m.

General admission seating for shows in the Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum Concert Series is free with Arizona State Fair admission. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Reserved seating tickets are still available for purchase at azstatefair.com/tickets and at the South Box Office.

This is your last chance to enjoy all the musical fun the Arizona State Fair has to offer. The weather is great. The shows are fantastic. Get on down to the Arizona State Fair.
