Olga A. Gonzalez

, 82, of Kearny, AZ, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at Banner Baywood Hospital, Mesa, AZ, with her family by her side. She was born on Jan. 15, 1932, in Los Angeles, CA, the daughter of Manuel Apodaca and Anita Apodaca, and stepfather, Arnold Ortiz. Olga made her home in Kearny since 1958.

Olga is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Alfonso) Benitez and Bernice (Leroy) Arguello; a brother, Roger Apodaca; nine grandchildren, Sophia Gonzalez, Frank Manuel Bracamonte, Amanda Huffman, Malena Dorame, Miguel Angel Dorame, Leroy Paul Arguello, Valerie Arguello, Ruben Anthony Benitez and Felicia Benitez; 16 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Gonzalez, and brothers, Arnold and Manuel Apodaca.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at 10 a.m., at Infant Jesus of Prague, Kearny, preceded by a Rosary at 9:30 a.m.

Services were entrusted to Griffith Mortuary, Kearny. Online memorial available at www.griffithmortuary.com.
