Superior – There is a new business in the town of Superior, and it is taking everyone, including the Superior Chamber of Commerce, for a ride.

Big Gene’s Ride, a new taxi service in town, will take you anywhere you want to go, in Superior, for $5. This is great news for folks that can’t drive to market, clinic or local shopping. Finally, an affordable way to get around when you would, otherwise, be stuck at home due to lack of transportation. Or, if you have been doing a little too much partying, this is a great way to get home safely. Just remember to stop when you have at least $5 left! Longer rides are also available, up to 100 miles away. Call the number below for details on longer rides.

A ribbon cutting was held at Porter’s Café to welcome owner Curtis Pierce and his staff. Call 520-827-0484 and enjoy the ride.

Another ribbon cutting is scheduled for Feb. 9 at 1l:30 am, when Random Boutique celebrates its opening on Main St. Owner Jenny Holmquist has wonderful merchandise that is sure to please everyone.

The Superior Chamber of Commerce wants to remind everyone in Superior to come out in support of local businesses. Buying local helps everyone in the community.
