The Mountain Vista girls’ volleyball teams did well at the Central Junior High League Tournament held on Saturday in Kearny. The 8th Grade Lady Cougars avenged their only loss of the year and won the Central Junior High League conference championship. The 7th Grade girls lost their first game of the season but brought home a second place trophy. Congratulations on a great season!

In football, the Mountain Vista Cougars hosted the second place Superior Panthers. Superior came into the game with a 4 and 1 won loss record and are going to the conference playoffs. Mountain Vista had only won one game and were playing their last game of the season. The Cougars played with a lot of heart and determination to defeat Superior 33 -14. It was Parent’s Day for the 8th graders which made the victory a special one.
