  The Mountain Vista girls’ volleyball teams did well at the Central Junior High League Tournament held on Saturday in Kearny. The 8^th Grade Lady Cougars avenged their only loss of the year and won the Central Junior High League conference championship. The 7^th Grade girls lost their first game of the season but brought home a second place trophy. Congratulations on a great season!

  In football, the Mountain Vista Cougars hosted the second place Superior Panthers. Superior came into the game with a 4 and 1 won loss record and are going to the conference playoffs. Mountain Vista had only won one game and were playing their last game of the season. The Cougars played with a lot of heart and determination to defeat Superior 33 -14. It was Parent’s Day for the 8^th graders which made the victory a special one.
