Mountain Vista’s Lady Cougars.
The Mountain Vista Cougars and Lady Cougars opened the 2016-17 basketball season against the Eloy Dust Devils at home. They started the season with a sweep of all four games.
The 7th grade girls and boys team won their games 28 – 6 and 19 -13.
The 8th grade Lady Cougars defeated Eloy 27 – 12.
In the final game of the evening, the 8th grade Cougar boys came away with the victory with a final score of 33 – 24.
This season should be an entertaining one!
